Gas Analyzers

The EC9800 ambient air analysers are intelligent analyzers designed to provide state-of-the-art features, outstanding gas measurement sensitivity and reliability, and a low cost of ownership. The basis of measurement and majority of the analyzers are either U.S. EPA Equivalent or Reference Method certified.

The analysers are separated into 4 families based on the system of measurement and gas being measured.

ozone analyzerOZONE ANALYZER FAMILY
The Ozone family of analysers are non-dispersive ultraviolet (UV) photometers that measure ozone (O3) over a range of 0 – 20ppm. Alternatively one of the instruments; the EC9811, can be used as an ozone primary transfer standard. These instruments are U.S. EPA approved as an Equivalent method for the determination of O3 concentrations.

Carbon monoxide analyzerOXIDES OF CARBON ANALYZER FAMILY
The Oxides of Carbon family of analyzers use NDIR gas filter correlation photometry to measure Carbon Monoxide (CO) over trace (0-20ppm), standard (0-500) and high level ranges (0-3000ppm). Alternatively the analysis or CO2 can be performed for ranges 0-750ppm, 0-1500ppm or 0-3000ppm. The EC9830 series of Carbon Monoxide analyzers are U.S. EPA approved as a reference method for the determination of CO concentrations.

Nitrogen oxides analyzerOXIDES OF NITROGEN ANALYZER FAMILY
The Oxides of Nitrogen family of analyzers use chemiluminescence technology to measure Oxides of Nitrogen (NOX, NO2 & NO) over trace (0-2ppm), standard (0-20ppm) and high level ranges (0-1000ppm). This measurement system is also used in conjunction with converters as an Ammonia analyzer (NH3)/(NOX)/(NX) or as a NOy (Total Reactive Nitrogen Oxides) analyser (NOy/NO) in the ambient air. EC9841 series of NOX analysers are U.S. EPA approved as a Reference Method for the determination of NOX concentrations.

Sulfur Dioxide analyzerSULFUR COMPOUNDS ANALYZER FAMILY
The Sulfur Compounds family of analyzers use fluorescence detection to measure Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) over trace (0-2ppm), standard (0-20ppm) and high level ranges (0-400ppm). The fluorescence detection system is also used in the measurement of Total Sulfur (TS) over a range of 0-20ppm and in the measurement of Sulfur compounds (H2S/SO2/H2S+SO2) or (SO2/TRS/TS) over a range of 0-2000ppb. The EC9850 series of Sulfur Dioxide analyzers are U.S. EPA approved as an Equivelent method for the determination of SO2 concentrations.

The EC9800 range of analyzers are manufactured in Australia by Ecotech.

News Flash - Ecotech receives US EPA Approval for Trace Precursor Analysers
On June 26th, 2006 Ecotech's EC9830T, EC9841T and EC9850T Analysers received US EPA approval for the trace gas measurement of CO, NOX and SO2. Ecotech offers fully integrated trace monitoring systems for these gases plus NOy and NH3.
