 The Sulfur compound family of analyzers consists of four instruments from the EC9850 series (1 trace, 2 standard, and 1 high range). Within this family are also the EC9850TS Total Sulfur analyzer, and the EC9852 Sulfur Compound analyzer, which has 2 seperate versions Hydrogen sulfide analyzer (H2S/SO2/H2S+SO2) or the Total Sulfur analyzer (SO2/TRS/TS).
The EC9850 instruments are U.S. EPA approved for the detection of Sulfur Dioxide (see resources below).
EC9850T Trace SO2 Analyzer
The EC9830T is specially designed to accurately measure SO2 over a range of 0-2ppm and can be used either in a system or as a standalone instrument.

EC9850A Series SO2 Analyzer
The EC9850A is a standalone Sulfur Dioxide analyzer (0-20ppm) that contains its own internal pump, scrubbers and flow control making it ideal for remote or mobile applications.

EC9850B Series SO2 Analyzer
The EC9850B is a Sulfur Dioxide analyzer (0-20ppm) is designed for use in systems as it does not contain an internal pump and therefore is less expensive.

EC9850H High Range SO2 Analyzer
The last instrument in the EC9850 series is the EC9850H High Range Sulfur Dioxide analyzer which can measure SO2 over a range of 0-400ppm and is most suited to industrial emissions and stack applications.

EC9850TS Total Sulfur Analyzer
The EC9850TS Total Sulphur analyzer can sample and detect Total Sulfur in ambient air over a range of 0-20ppm. Total Sulfur is the sum of Sulfur Dioxide and Total Reduced Sulfur (TS = SO2 + TRS). The EC9850TS analyzer is used in conjunction with an ammonia converter the Ecotech HTO-1000.

EC9852 Sufur Compounds Analyzer
The EC9852 Sulfur Compound analyzer can sample and detect Sulfur Compounds in ambient air over a range of 0-2000ppb. The Sulfur Compound analyzer is available in two varieties:
The Hydrogen sulphide analyzer (H2S) measures Sulfur dioxide (SO2), Total Hydrogen sulfide + Sulfur Dioxide (H2S + SO2) and Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S).The Hydrogen sulfide analyzer is available only as a B series unit (system) and is used in conjunction with the H2S-1000 external converter.
The alternative version of the EC9852 analyser is the Total Sulfur analyzer which measures Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Total Reduced Sulfur (TRS) and Total Sulfur (TS). The Total Reduced Sulfur analyzer is available both as an A series (standalone) or B series (system). The EC9852 Total Sulfur analyzer is used in conjunction with the Ecotech HTO-1000 converter.
