MOD I/O MODBUS Interface
With Hachīs new MOD I/O Interface, connecting instruments on your AquaTrend network with your PLC or SCADA system is easy. Using the universal MODBUSŪ protocol, the MOD I/O provides a digital link that eliminates the disadvantages of analog data transmission - with a simple two-wire connection. Each MOD I/O Interface can accommodate up to 8 Hach AquaTrend sensors. With up to 8 measurement channels and 12 alarms available for each sensor, a single MOD I/O can handle up to 64 measurements and up to 96 alarms. With additional MOD I/O units, you can accommodate enough sensors and network devices to meet the needs of virtually any plant.
