WinCollect 5 has advanced data collection capabilities which allow downloading of data from a wide range of industry leading data loggers, through a variety of different methods. WinCollect 5 is able to download from multiple stations simultaneously, downloading data from large monitoring networks in minutes. WinCollect can be scheduled to automatically download data, and when combined with automatic report generation, the entire reporting cycle can be automated.

WinCollect 5’s new data validation facilities makes the validation process simple and easy, in addition to providing advanced auditing functionality.

Data validation in WinCollect allows users to quickly validate/invalidate data and assign a reason for the action being performed. Blocks and entire columns of data can be highlighted and a single common reason assigned to them via a simple drag and drop. This action can also include transformations of data such as offsets, multipliers or even directly editing the value.

Changes to data are highlighted with different colours indicating the changes being made.

All changes are recorded and can be viewed and exported in the Audit tab, this shows the history of every single change, why it changed and who changed it.

Data is also presented as an easy to view dynamic graph which can be zoomed and manipulated multiple ways to get an instantaneous idea of data trends. The graph can be used to plot changed data against original data, allowing a quick visual comparison of both sets

Graphical Reports

WinCollect 5’s graphical reporting capabilities allow users to present data in a graphical format in a variety of ways. Data can be presented as Bar graphs, Distribution graphs, Frequency graphs, Polar plots and/or Wind Rose. More advanced graphical reporting is also available through combining with exceedence reports, a pollution index (data points plotted against defined threshold levels) or even a map showing the physical location and direction of pollutants.

Graphical reports can be exported into a Data report as an image file, updated in real-time on a screen or on a website.

Data reports display downloaded data in an easy to view format. Data reports are fully customizable and can be tailored to fit in with any organizations existing reporting format. Data reports can report values in numerical format or can combine both numerical and graphical data, providing the user with a powerful reporting program.

Reports are generated via an easy to use wizard, Once a report is generated it can be scheduled to automatically produce the report of a user defined interval. Automatically generated reports can be set to automatically.

Alarms are generated when data is outside a user defined range and can be sent to send out warning in multiple different formats. Alarms can be activated when pollutants are over exceedence levels, specific weather conditions exist or when an instrument or station is not working.
